BlackMagic is adding a Micro Four-Thirds model of it's Cinema Camera. Besides the mount the camera is identical to the "old" EF version, renamed the BlackMagic Cinema Camera EF or BCCEF.
The MFT model is aimed at Micro Four Thirds, Nikon and PL lens users. MFT as a flange focal depth of 19.25mm compared to Canon's EF depth of 44mm. The short flange depth is almost a neural mount since everybody makes lens adapters.
The new MTF mount is "dumb", that is purely mechanical and has no electronics which means no auto iris or auto focus. That actually sounds pretty smart to me...
