Crews Control is one of those companies that matches crews with producers... mostly for out of state productions.

  1. What I see are lots of statistics re camera formats and the media used for them. What is missing is their practical use to obtain the needed result. For example, if we are dealing with a tapeless format for, say, a news story or something strictly for the web. It really doesn't matter what format is used. What matters is knowing the type of file that is generated from the recording, can it easily be transferred to a hard drive and what is the edit system employed. You can talk popular formats all day -- they don't mater. Knowing what the end use is, is paramount; and the result should not have necessarily been determined by a specific format.
